1. Information We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide you with our astrological services and API access.

• Personal Data: We collect your name, email address, mobile number, and, optionally, your GST number when you register an account or purchase a subscription.
• Astrological Profile Data: To generate your Kundli, we require your Date of Birth (DOB), Time of Birth (TOB), Place of Birth (POB), and Gender. This data is securely stored in our Cloudflare D1 database and is only used to compute your astrological charts.
• Chat and Query Logs: We store the questions you ask the AI and the AI's responses (chat history) to provide a continuous, contextual experience across sessions.
• API Logs: If you are a B2B developer, we log your API requests (endpoints, status codes, latency, token usage) to accurately bill your pay-as-you-go wallet and monitor rate limits.
• Payment Information: We do not store your credit card or banking details. All transactions are securely processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To compute accurate astronomical ephemeris and astrological planetary positions.
• To personalize your interactions with our multi-module AI astrologers.
• To authenticate users, process payments, and manage subscription/wallet balances.
• To send you important administrative emails, such as password resets and payment receipts.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the performance of our Cloudflare serverless infrastructure.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We prioritize your privacy and do not sell your personal or astrological data to third-party data brokers. However, to provide our service, we must share specific data with trusted infrastructure partners:

• Cloudflare AI Gateway / Google Vertex AI: To generate the natural language astrological readings, your prompt (which includes your astrological birth details and your question) is sent to our LLM providers (e.g., Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite) via the secure Cloudflare AI Gateway.
• Razorpay: We share your billing details (name, email, phone, address, state) with Razorpay to generate invoices and process payments.
• MailChannels: We use Cloudflare's MailChannels integration to send automated system emails and admin error reports.

4. Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your passwords are hashed using standard cryptographic algorithms (e.g., PBKDF2/bcrypt via Web Crypto API), and all communication with our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your account, your astrological profile, and your chat history, please contact us at privacy@yagyamitra.com.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date".
